Up on the mountain, Bierstube, the Hellroaring Saloon, and Ed & Mully’s pack in the après-ski set. Back in town, Montana Coffee Traders has the best morning brew. DON’T MISS: The World Skijoring Championship, January 27–29, an exciting extreme sport that has skiers being pulled around an obstacle course by cowboys on horseback. Skijoring is just one highlight of the Whitefish Winter Carnival (January 6–February 5) that also features parades, snow queens, coronations, parties, and fireworks.
